My mission is to help people achieve optimal health and well being utilizing the power of real, whole, natural, sustainable foods. A wide range of culinary services are customized to the individual needs of each client and are supported by the belief that our food choices makes the difference in how we feel, look, live, and the quality and source of our food greatly impact every aspect of our health, society, world and its inhabitants.

Laurie Gershgorn is passionate about showing people the alternatives to the standard American diet and fad diets by teaching them about the many food choices that nature has to offer. She shares her information and skills through customized nutritional services to empower people to achieve their goals for restoring and maintaining health, feeding their bodies and minds. Laurie understands the fundamentals of human nutrition and its relation to food and healing.
Her wide range of knowledge, skills and intuitivity has provided people with a nourishing diet and lifestyle. As a graduate of the New York ACCET accredited Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, she is certifiably qualified and experienced in nutritional chef services.
As a sustainable food educator and activist for many years, she has been involved with food co-ops, la leche league, local school districts, and places of worship. Her passion for using the gifts of nature to support wellness is visible in all aspects of her living. Healthy Culinary Creations is located in Westchester County in New York.

Many people are told what they should and should not be eating, but not how to achieve it. Laurie shows you how to accomplish your goals. You will learn beyond your current level of cooking skill or nutrition knowledge, based on your needs.
Classes are specialized for those with or without previous cooking experience.
Cooking classes are given on an individual or group basis at the client's home, business, organization, or school. Instruction may include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training workshops, using a wide variety of whole foods and cooking techniques to prepare food in the most healthful way.

Traditional

Many ingredients and ways to prepare food from these cultures are used to enhance the nutrition and flavor of the dishes prepared.

All dishes and meals are balanced to include all the necessary nutritional components, and customized to each client's particular needs, dietary restrictions and requirements. Refined, processed, factory created foods are not used.
